What is Pro-Nox?™

How does Pro-Nox™ Work?

The most amazing benefit of Pro-Nox™ is that it is a self-administered device, which allows you to have complete control of how much gas you would like to receive. Because of patients ability to control its use, there are no complications associated with Pro-Nox™. If you have any sign of discomfort or anxiousness during your procedure, you can inhale the ideal amount of gas through the tubing to relieve your symptoms immediately. You may breathe in as much or as little as you may want. These effects are short-lasting, ending shortly after the last inhale. Pro-Nox™ is ideal if you feel particularly anxious or nervous before a non-surgical treatment. As soon as you inhale Pro-Nox™, you can expect an instant calmness and relief from anxiety and pain while staying awake. Unlike other medications, Pro-Nox™ will wear off in about 10 minutes, so you are able to drive home safely and resume daily activities immediately. Some patients may have a sensitivity to the oxygen and nitrous oxide combination but otherwise there are only minimal side effects from this device. Some side effects may be headaches, nausea, dizziness or hallucinations, but these all will subside after a few minutes.
